the passage. Then answer the question no. 1, 2 and 3.
In case of teaching the students,
Bangladesh Government has introduced 'Communicative English' at the secondary
and the higher secondary levels. This is a time demanding initiative taken by
the Government. This method of teaching helps the learners a lot to gain
accuracy in English. In this teaching-learning process both of the teachers and
the learners have the scope to take part in the classroom activities. Here the
teachers deliver their lecture in English and all the students of various
qualities are encouraged to speak in English. When everybody of the class takes
part in the discussion the atmosphere of the class becomes lively and
interesting and at a certain stage the teachers are able to create an English
environment in the classroom. Gradually the learners learn the art of speaking
in English. Through this process, the students can remove their shyness and
uneasiness and at the same time the teachers can enrich themselves. So, the
communicative approach of English is undoubtedly an effective process of
learning English well. The main objective of the 'Communicative English' is to
help the learners to acquire communicative competence in English as the world

skills of language of the learners. They should be built up in such a way so
that they can compete with the people of other countries and can go on in the
same way in all the cases.
This communicative method is a
practical process. So to implement the system practically we need to equip the
classroom with all kinds of modern amenities. We have some limitations in this
