Read the passage. Then answer the

Mother
Teresa was born in Skopje , Macedonia on 26 August, 1910 . From her early age,
she was an extraordinary child. At the age of 12, she heard a voice from within
her that urged her to spread the love of Christ. She decided that she would be
a missionary. She left her father’s home at the age of 18. Then she joined the
Irish Community of nuns called the Sisters of Loretto, which had missions in India . There
she was moved by the prevailing poverty and left the convent having permission
to serve the humanity.
Mother
Teresa was moved to see the sick and dying people on the streets of Kolkata.
She opened a home for the dying destitute and named it 'Nirmol Hridoy', meaning
'Pure Heart'. She ensured an environment of love and kindness for them. She
emphasizes the commitment to family.
All
her work has been recognized throughout the world and she was properly
rewarded. These include the Pope John XXIII Peace Prize (1971), the Nehru Prize
(1972), the Balzan Prize (1978), the Nobel Peace Prize (1979) and the Bharat
Ratna (1980). She died on 5
September 1997 . Till now people salute her love and compassion for
humanity.

Jibanananda Das was born in
a small town of Barisal
in 1899. He took his masters degree in English at the age of 22. The next year
he started his teaching career as a lecturer in English at Calcutta City
College . He lost the job
in 1928 on the charge of publishing a poem. Later he joined the Ramjash College , Delhi in 1929 but returned to his motherland
next year. He got appointed in B.M.
College , Barisal in 1935. In 1947 when India was
divided, he left Bangladesh
for India .
In 1951 he joined the Kharagpur
College .
He got Rabindra award in 1953. He died on October 22, 1954 .
