 Casablanca was a military officer. He had a dutiful son. Once Casablanca was with his son in a ship. The ship was sailing without any problem. Suddenly the ship was attracted by an enemy fleet. A fierce battle was soon raging. Flashes of thousands of guns lit up the ship in darkness. Then the ship was set on fire. Casablanca asked his son to stand at particular place, not to move anywhere. Then he set out to face the foes. He was fighting out of the sight of the boy. All on a sudden, some enemy bullets pierced him and he died instantly on the spot. As he was quite out of the sight of his father, he did not know anything about his father. There on that burning deck, the boy was standing alone. He was a 12-years’ old boy. There he stood alone at his post. He was surrounded by flames and facing the dangerous enemies. He did not move even an inch as his father had told him not to move. Soon afterword’s the fire reached the deep down the ship. The boy perished when the whole ship exploded. The sound of blowing up the ship was heard from long distances. And serious flames of fire were also seen. It was an enormous explosion rarely seen back in those times. For about half an hour, the guns were silent. The English officers and men were absolutely horrified at the killing that had taken place. They send a ship to rescue the survivors from the water. The very sad story of the boy who stood on that burning deck is still told and retold. Eventually it has become a unique legend.
