 Subject: For better medical facilities.

Sir,

I wish to draw your attention to the fact that We, the inhabitants of Gurguri Village of Kundapukur Union under Nilphamari Sadar Thana, are totally ten  thousand  families residing in our locality.   But, there is lack of health and medical facilities in our area. As a result the villagers have to face many problems. They have to travel long distances to get medical facilities.  Owing to this lack, many tragedies have happened. The news of death of many babies and small children due to encephalitis and dengue was much in the news and the Government came in severe flak from the press for this. I strongly feel many of the deaths could have been averted if there were proper hospitals in the nearby areas. 5 children from our area would have been saved if any Primary Health Center or Hospital would have been there to look after them.

Through the medium of your esteemed daily I appeal to the State Health Ministry to look into this serious matter. I on behalf of all the residents appeal to the authorities for the construction of a Primary Health Center in our village for increasing better medical facilities in our village.
