Two Friends on Importance of Punctuality Dialogue between two friends on importance of punctuality
Zafi:
Hello Zarif! How are you?
Zarif: I
am fine and what about you?
Zafi: I am
fine too. But I am in some trouble.
Zarif: I
am sorry for that. Can I be of any help to you?
Zafi: You
know, Zarif, I missed many of my classes. And now I am having trouble with
understanding those lessons. Exams are also knocking at the door.
Zarif: I
see you are really in a great problem. In this case I am lucky enough because I
maintained punctuality and attended classes in time.
Zafi:
Really you did a good job. Now I can realize that I have made a great mistake.
I thought that I would be able to complete all my lessons before the
exams.
Zarif: It
is really unfortunate that you have made a great blunder. We should maintain
strict punctuality in our student life if we want to do well in our exams.
Zafi: You
are very much right. I even did not prepare my practical papers in time. I
don't know how I can prepare all those within this time. Now I am hopeless.
Zarif: I
feel sorry for you. If you had completed everything with punctuality, you would
not have been in this situation now.
Zafi: I
can now understand the importance of punctuality in student life.
Zarif:
Yes, punctuality in student life is very important. You must not forget it.
Zafi: Yes,
that's is absolutely true. Student life is the best time to grow the habit of
punctuality.
Zarif:
Exactly! If anyone fails to develop the habit of punctuality, he must suffer.
Zafi: Of
course! Thank you for your precious suggestion.
Zarif: You
are most welcome. See you again.
**Dialogue between two friends about illiteracy
eradication
Zafi:
Hello Zarif, how are you?
Zarif: I
am fine and you?
Zafi: I am
also fine. I see you are absorbed in deep thought. Is there any problem?
Zarif: No,
I have no personal problem. I am terribly upset about the problem of our illiteracy.
Zafi: Oh,
I see. Illiteracy is undoubtedly a great problem as well as a curse for our
country.
Zarif: You
are right. It is the root cause of ignorance that frustrates all our
development efforts.
Zafi:
Exactly! No development efforts can succeed unless illiteracy is eradicated.
Zarif:
Right you are. Our girls and women are the worst sufferers from illiteracy. But
how can we get rid of this problem?
Zafi: I
think the government should take pragmatic steps to solve this problem. The
government should make education free up to graduate level and help the poor
students financially.
Zarif: You are partly right. But only
government cannot solve this problem. We all should come forward and work hand
in hand to solve this problem.
Zafi: It
is okay! But the government should
start adult schools again and take initiative so that our girls go to
school and complete at least primary education.
Zarif: I
agree with you! But creating mass awareness is very important in this case.
Zafi: You
are right. If we develop mass awareness among the guardians, they will be aware
of the importance of education.
Zarif: Absolutely. We students also can
persuade illiterate guardians for sending their children to school. We should
do it because it is our social duty.
Zafi:
Exactly, if we all are sincere in words and deeds, eradicating illiteracy from
our country is not impossible. Thank you.
Zarif: That's right. You are most welcome.
***Dialogue Between Two Friends on Unemployment Problem
Zafi:
Hello, Zarif. What's up?
Zarif:
It's cool. What about you?
Zafi: I am
not so well. I am worried about my future life. If I remain unemployed after
finishing my exam, it will be too much unfortunate.
Zarif:
Unemployment has really become an acute problem in our country as the number of
unemployed people is more than the job opportunities available here.
Zafi: You
are absolutely right, but I believe that if you want to be employed, you must
have to learn some skill on certain profession.
Zarif: I
agree with you. And that's why everyone should decide what he is going to do
after passing SSC Examination.
Zafi: Will
you tell me please how we can come out of unemployment?
Zarif:
Yes, you should learn some profession and acquire some skills. If you are
skilled, you can employ yourself in any trade or profession.
Zafi: But
what about the disabled persons?
Zarif: No
problem for them also. Nowadays the disabled persons are being trained in
various professions and skills according to their ability. And they are doing
good.
Zafi: Are
you sure, they can?
Zarif: Of
course. I know many institutions that train up the disabled. I know many
disabled persons who have become self-employed or employed by others.
Zafi: Who
do you think the unemployed section of our society?
Zarif: Some
youths, students and those who are blind, deaf, dumb, and lame.
Zafi:
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me.
Zarif: You
are most welcome.

Zafi: Hello
Zarif! How are you?
Zarif: I am
fine and you?
Zafi: I am
fine too. I am very glad that you have come to visit me.
Zarif: Really!
I have not seen you for quite some time.
Zafi: Yes, it
seems to be an age. However, I have taken decision to learn English well so
that I can speak and write English fluently.
Zarif: Okay,
you have taken a wise decision. I really appreciate your decision. In fact, it
is impossible to build up a career without learning English well.
Zafi: Exactly!
But I do not know whether I would be able to learn English well or my attempt
to learn English will end in smoke. Do you think I will face much difficulty to
learn English?
Zarif: No, I do
not think so. I hope you will succeed. What you need most to learn English well
is to develop the four language skills of English.
Zafi: What are
these four language skills? And how can I develop these skills?
Zarif: These
four language skills are reading, writing, speaking, and listening. In order to
develop your writing skill you have to learn the basic grammar rules.
Zafi: Oh, I
see. But is that all?
Zarif: No.
Every day you have to write some pages. Besides, you have to learn new
vocabulary and their correct use and spelling. You have to write your diary in
English every day.
Zafi: But how
can I develop my reading skill?
Zarif: By
reading English newspapers daily, you can develop your reading skill easily.
Zafi: But what
about pronunciation for speaking?
Zarif: You can
watch BBC, CNN, National Geographic Channel or English news on television to
develop your pronunciation skill. You can also speak in English to one another
in the class.
Zafi: It is an
excellent idea. Thank you very much for your wise suggestions.
Zarif: You are
most welcome. See you again.

English
pronunciation is my first obstacle. The pronunciation in English puzzles me a
lot because the same letter has different sounds. Of course, there are few
difficulties in Vocabulary Learning. English Grammar is complex, making it
difficult to remember, master and use logically. The variations in the
different forms of English can often be difficult to understand.
No more
today. Wishing you a sound health, peaceful mind and all the best of luck.
Keep well and write to me. Have a nice time. Hopping to hear from you

Cleanliness
Cleanliness
is one of the best qualities which are very important for keeping our body and
mind active, energetic, fresh and healthy. It is also a part of our
civilization. If we clean our bodies and limbs regularly we will be free from
many kinds of disease and our skin will be brighter. We will look fit and
smart. It brings us a cheerful mind, progress and improvement in all fields of
activities and in all spheres of life. By cleanliness of body and limbs,
cleanliness of all our articles of use, cleanliness of our dwellings and soul,
we gradually move towards divinity. Hence, there is saying. “Cleanliness is
next to Godliness”. In order to keep ourselves neat and clean, we have to take
daily care of ourselves, of our articles of use, of our dwellings and
surroundings. We have to brush our teeth and tongues two times a day in the
morning and before going to bed. Beside, we have to clean our mouth properly
before and after each meal and wash our bodies two times a day with soap and
water. Our cloth and shirts have to be cleaned with washing soap every day at
the time of bath. We should remove the filth and rubbish into a pit, dug out at
a distance for this purpose. We should look to the proper drainage and
sanitation work of our house and the surrounding. We should get our hair cut
and our nails pared at proper intervals. These are some important to keep
ourselves neat and clean.
